Please note: Troubleshooting should only be performed if issue is occurring on pump only.
If your pump is displaying a single blood drop in the CGM Status box, this means that the System needs a BG value to calibrate. If you have not already entered a calibration (fingerstick reading) between 20-600 mg/dL (1.1-33.3 mmol/L), please do so and wait 10 minutes.
If you are still being prompted to calibrate after 10 minutes, you will need to replace your sensor. You may submit a service request using this form.
Please note: The G6 system is contraindicated for acetaminophen (paracetamol) amounts over 1,000 mg over the course of 6 hours. The length of time that acetaminophen (paracetamol) affects the system's performance is based on dosage and length of time since dose. Please wait approximately 6 hours for the drug to get out of your system, prior to entering another fingerstick reading. Please rely on BG meter during this time.
