Alarms 10, 11, or 15 - Temperature Alarms
Your pump detected an internal temperature below 35ºF (2ºC) or above 113ºF (45ºC) and all deliveries have stopped.
How to Troubleshoot:
- Tap . Remove the pump from the extreme temperature or direct sunlight and then resume insulin delivery.
- Exposing the pump to direct sunlight for long periods of time can affect the temperature of the pump. Keep your pump covered if outside on a sunny day.
- It is recommended to avoid exposure of your pump to temperatures below 41°F (5°C) or above 99°F (37°C). Insulin is very sensitive to heat and cold. It can spoil if outside recommended temperatures even for a short period of time. Spoiled insulin can affect the safety and performance of your insulin pump.
