Why do red bars appear on the CGM graph when using Control-IQ technology?

Red bars on the CGM graph in Control-IQ technology represent periods of time where basal delivery was stopped. Periods where basal delivery was decreased do not appear with red bars.  Boluses will continue and new boluses can be started when Control-IQ technology has stopped basal delivery.
