How does Control-IQ technology use my Personal Profiles?
While Control-IQ is on, the Personal Profile settings are used as the basis for delivery by the algorithm. The pump will deliver the programmed basal rate (limited to 3 units per hour) when the CGM is out of range for more than 20 minutes. Control-IQ technology resumes automatically when the CGM reconnects.
Control-IQ also uses the correction factor in your active Personal Profile when calculating an automatic correction bolus.
You may switch between different Personal Profiles at any time while using Control-IQ technology.
Can I change the Target BG while using Control-IQ technology?
When Control-IQ is set to ON, your Target BG is fixed to 110 mg/dL. In order to edit your Target BG Control-IQ must be set to OFF. Once you turn Control-IQ on, it will automatically change your target BG to 110 mg/dL.
Note: Target BG is only used to calculate correction boluses.
