Programmed glucose targets and limits are used to calculate Time In Range (TIR) in the t:connect mobile and web applications.
The high glucose limit sets the orange line at the top of the graph so sensor glucose readings that are at or above this limit will display on the graph as orange dots. The low glucose limit sets the red line at the bottom of the graph so sensor glucose readings that are at or below this limit will display on the graph as red dots. The target glucose limit is the green shaded area on your graph. The glucose target range in the t:connect mobile app is defaulted to 70-180 mg/dL to match the American Diabetes Association goal for TIR when using continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). If you change or customize these targets, t:connect will use these adjusted targets to calculate your TIR shown on the mobile app and t:connect reports.
Programmed limits are for reporting purposes and do not dictate when you will receive alerts or alarms. Alert and alarm settings are programmed on your t:slim X2 insulin pump. Please consult with your healthcare provider before changing either defaulted programmed glucose targets and limits or any alert/alarm settings.
Colors code your reports, charts and graphs in t:connect:
High glucose limit: Orange
Target glucose limit: Green
Low glucose limit: Red
Steps to access glucose targets and limit values:
- Open t:connect mobile app
- Go to Settings
- Choose Glucose Thresholds
